In 1957, WWII veteran, John Campbell,
bent a paper clip on his desk.
As he touched it, it rotated back and forth
He decided to bend his favorite hook
in the same manner.
Taking that hook to the lake, he found out
that he never missed a fish.
Hence, Tru Turn Hooks were born.
Over time, both of his sons, Wes and Steve,
took over the business.
They, along with Wes’ wife Kerry,
built the company into what it is today.
In 2003, TT/ Inc. purchased
Blakemore, the company known
for Road Runner lures.
TTI Inc then became TTI-Blakemore.
It’s home to seven hook brands and all of
the Road Runner lures, Real Magic and
other accessories.
TTI-Blakemore is proud to participate in
kids, veteran and church events around
the country.
We are also proud of the team we have.
